The YTL Foundation Scholarship Programme supports Malaysian students who demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need to pursue full-time undergraduate degree programmes at local public and private universities.
The scholarship is open to students from all academic fields, with priority given to:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Project Management and other construction-related courses
- Finance and Business-related degrees
- Creative Arts and Design
- Accounting
- Computer Science
- Social Sciences
This scholarship is designed for students who face challenges in financing their tuition fees and living expenses and are committed to completing their studies full-time.
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens and meet the academic requirements set by the foundation. In addition to financial support, scholars will also receive structured development programmes, paid internships, and mentorship opportunities to enhance their academic and professional growth.

Academic Requirements (Local & Private Universities):
- SPM / IGCSE: Minimum 7As
- STPM: Minimum CGPA 3.50
- Matriculation / Foundation: Minimum CGPA 3.70
- A Levels: Minimum 2As
- IB: Minimum 37 points
- AUSMAT: Minimum ATAR 75
