Equator College, formerly known as Equator Academy of Art, was established in 1987 and has grown into a recognised brand name in art, media and design education in northern Malaysia. With more than three decades of experience, the college continues to nurture creative talent through a blend of technical skills, disciplined practice, creative exploration and professional industry knowledge.

The college has two campuses situated in the heart of George Town, Penang: the Leith Street Campus and the Amoy Lane Campus.
