The Yeoh Tiong Lay Award (Overseas) is a prestigious scholarship by YTL Foundation for outstanding Malaysian students who have been accepted into top-rated foreign universities for full-time undergraduate degree programmes.
The award is open to all fields of study, with priority given to:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Project Management and other construction-related courses
- Finance and Business-related degrees
- Creative Arts and Design
- Accounting
- Computer Science
- Social Sciences
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens from families with financial need and must be able to pursue full-time studies overseas. Candidates must have applied for or secured admission into a recognised top-ranked foreign university.

- 7 years
Academic Requirements:
- SPM / IGCSE: Minimum 8As
- STPM: Minimum CGPA 3.70
- Matriculation / Foundation: CGPA 4.0
- A Levels: Minimum 2A*
- IB: Minimum 40 points
- AUSMAT: Minimum ATAR 85
