MSU President’s Scholarship

The President’s Scholarship is Management and Science University’s (MSU) flagship financial aid award, established to support high-achieving students from economically challenged backgrounds. Administered through Yayasan MSU (MSU Foundation), the scholarship reflects the university’s commitment to accessible, inclusive and high-quality tertiary education.
This scholarship is awarded to deserving Malaysian students who demonstrate strong academic potential, leadership qualities, and a genuine need for financial assistance.
Scholarship Highlights
- Full or partial tuition fee coverage
- Open to Malaysian citizens
- For Diploma, Bachelor’s degree and selected Postgraduate programmes
- Prioritises students from lower-income and underserved communities
- May include additional support such as meals, accommodation and transportation allowances (based on socio-economic assessment)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are generally required to meet the following conditions:
Academic Requirements
- Strong academic results (SPM / STPM / Diploma / equivalent)
- Consistent performance in school or previous qualification
- Bonus consideration for leadership roles, community involvement or co-curricular achievements
Background Requirements
- Must come from a financially challenged or B40/Lower Middle-Income household
- Applicants may be required to undergo socio-economic evaluation conducted by MSU or Yayasan MSU
Nationality
- Open to Malaysian citizens only

Scholarship Value
The MSU President’s Scholarship may provide:
- Full scholarship (100% tuition fee waiver), OR
- Partial scholarship (percentage of fee reduction)
The exact amount is determined after MSU reviews the applicant’s academic results, financial background, and interview performance.
Selection Process

Submit the required details and supporting documents via MSU’s financial aid portal or admissions team. - Document Review
MSU assesses academic achievements and financial background. - Interview (if applicable)
Shortlisted candidates may undergo an interview with a scholarship panel. - Final Decision
Awards are granted based on merit, need and available allocation under Yayasan MSU.
