Overview
Community Impact Scholarships support various groups including school teachers, families, and single-parent households to pursue higher education at MAHSA.
5a. School Teacher Scholarship
Eligibility
- Applicant’s parent or spouse is a current school teacher in Malaysia.
- Minimum five (5) SPM credits or CGPA 3.0 at entry.
Benefits
- RM4,000 tuition fee waiver (subject to approval).
- Mentorship from experienced educators.
- One free micro-credential session for the parent.
5b. Family Scholarship
Eligibility
- Parent, child, or sibling of a current MAHSA student or alumni.
- Minimum five (5) SPM credits or CGPA 3.0 at entry.
Benefits
- RM4,000 tuition fee waiver (subject to approval).
- Mentorship and guidance from MAHSA faculty.
5c. Single Parent Scholarship
Eligibility
- Malaysian citizen residing with a single parent.
- Minimum five (5) SPM credits or CGPA 3.0 at entry.
- Demonstrated financial need.
Benefits
- Up to RM4,000 tuition fee waiver (subject to approval).
- Mentorship from counselors and social workers.
Terms & Conditions for Community Impact Scholarships
- Maintain academic progress and adhere to MAHSA’s code of conduct.
- Participate in minimum 60 hours of community service (prorated).
- Scholarship funds credited to student ledger.
- Appeal process available.
