Overview

A donor-funded scholarship established in memory of Lee Ah Kwee to support financially needy Malaysians with strong SPM results to pursue selected Foundation programmes at TAR UMT (KL Campus). The contributor is a former TARC student who wishes to give back.

Programmes Covered

• Foundation in Science (Year 1, Semester 1 – KL Main Campus)
• Foundation in Computing (Year 1, Semester 1 – KL Main Campus)
• Foundation in Arts (Track A) (Year 1, Semester 1 – KL Campus)

Eligibility

• Citizen of Malaysia
• Minimum 5As in SPM (or equivalent)
• Financially needy: total monthly income of parents/guardian is RM5,000 and below

What It Covers

• University fees as per student bill
• Tenure: normal duration to complete the Foundation programme

Terms & Conditions

• No concurrent scholarship/grant from other organisations
• Renewable every semester at the Sponsor’s absolute discretion, subject to satisfactory academic performance and conduct
• Maintain a CGPA of 2.75 every semester
• Award is disbursed through the TAR UMT Bursary
• Other terms and conditions apply

How to Apply

1. Download the application form from the Financial Aid section of the TAR UMT website at the beginning of the June Semester
2. Submit/email the completed form with relevant documents to the Centre for Pre-University Studies (CPUS) Office or mailbox at [email protected] before the closing date stated in the form
3. Only shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by CPUS; only successful applicants will be notified
