DASEIN-EXSIM Study Grant

The DASEIN-EXSIM Study Grant is a merit-based partial tuition fee waiver offered by Dasein Academy of Art with support from EXSIM Group.
The grant is designed to support deserving and well-qualified students in Malaysia who wish to pursue creative arts studies. Applicants are assessed based on academic results, and successful applicants may be required to attend an interview with the Dasein Finance Department for financial background verification.
The grant is available across all intakes annually.
Scholarship Value
Partial tuition fee waiver based on SPM or equivalent results:

Eligibility / Requirements
Applicants must:
- Submit official SPM, UEC, IGCSE, or equivalent qualification results.
- Ensure certificates were issued within the last 3 years.
- Complete and submit the Dasein Scholarship & Study Grant Application Form with all supporting documents.
- Be full-time registered students at Dasein Academy of Art.
- Apply for the grant for the year of admission.
Key Conditions
- Forecast results are not accepted.
- Students must pay first-semester tuition fees before classes begin.
- Once approved, the tuition fee waiver applies over five long semesters:
- Year 1 Semester 2
- Year 2 Semester 1
- Year 2 Semester 2
- Year 3 Semester 1
- Year 3 Semester 2
- Study grants are released each semester after approval.
- Study grants are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
- Students repeating a semester due to unsatisfactory performance or academic misconduct must pay full tuition fees for that semester.
- If a student withdraws or is expelled, the study grant is forfeited immediately.
- Applicants whose parents’ annual income is below RM140,000 must submit a copy of Form B/BE with payment receipt.
- Study grant applies to tuition fees only. Miscellaneous fees, library fees, graduation fees and other additional fees are not included.
Application Deadline
Application forms must be submitted to the Dasein Finance Department within 3 weeks after classes begin.
