Course Overview

This program aims to produce an instructional designer and training instructor who can assist in resolving communication-related issues and interactions in a variety of situations, including interacting with the general public as end users and employee training in an organisation. They are experts in creating and developing efficient learning experiences. This program covers fundamentals of instructional design and technology, web, and new media development interlaced with human resource management.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements:

SPM

• Possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least:
  • Grade C in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Melayu (July Paper).
  • Grade E in Sejarah (History) from the year 2013 onwards.

AND

STPM

• Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least:
  • A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00.
  • Grade C in Pengajian Am (General Studies).
  • TWO (2) Grade Cs in any other subjects not already counted.

AND

MUET

• Obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from Session 1 of 2021, with a validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released.

Specific Requirements:

• Obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.00 at the STPM level.
• Obtain at least a Grade C in Pengajian Am (General Studies) at the STPM level.
• Obtain at least a Grade C in any TWO (2) other subjects not already counted at the STPM level.
• Obtain at least a Grade C in the English subject at the SPM level.
• Obtain at least a Grade E in ONE (1) of the following subjects at the SPM level:
  • Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
• Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for results obtained from Session 1 of 2021 onwards, with a validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released.
• Open only to candidates of Malay descent, Anak Negeri Sabah, Anak Negeri Sarawak, and Orang Asli.
