The Diploma in Interior Design course is designed to provide students the opportunity to study all aspects of Interior Design, Spatial Design, and Furniture Design. Students are trained to develop functional, creative, and attractive designs for residential and commercial interior projects.
The course emphasises skills in analysing design problems so as to produce creative and technically proficient designs that can be communicated through both the computer technology and traditional media. Students are also taught the theoretical and historical aspects of art and architecture, building technology, project management, and professional practice which will prepare them for a professional career in the field of interior design.
Study trips are included in the course to broaden students’ awareness of contemporary development in built environment. The course adopts Building Information Modeling (BIM), the latest methodology and computer-aided design technologies to enhance student learning experience making it suitable for the modern industry.
