  Before I came to Malaysia, I thought it might be dangerous, but I found that Malaysians are actually very kind. Many places are also quite clean, which was a pleasant surprise. I found ELC through my university. I joined a study abroad program and chose Malaysia as my destination.

  I found out about ELC through my teacher. When I decided to study in Malaysia, the UOW Malaysia had already been chosen by my home university. Sometimes I couldn’t understand what the English language teachers were saying, but they always took the time to explain things again. I found that very helpful and supportive. After this, I would like to study Marketing because my dream is to become a marketer for the popular brand “Peanuts,” which features the Snoopy characters. I really love those characters.

  I started studying English because I wanted to; and after retiring, I thought it would be helpful for when I teach Korean to foreigners. I began because I enjoyed it but I also had the purpose of traveling. I come here because I wanted to speak English properly, and I wanted to be able to communicate with people from any country. I made an effort to get along well with my classmates. I believe that age and background don't matter.
