Course Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is designed for students who wish to add knowledge and skills in related fields.

Students come from various fields and industries, allowing them to engage in critical discussions in class.

The MBA programme is conducted over 18 months, encompassing a series of intensive lectures, seminars, teamwork projects, and blended learning. The teaching staff for this programme consists of professional lecturers with industry experience in accounting, business, finance and logistics, which will further enhance the quality of teaching and research.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

1. A Bachelor Degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the PPT Senate.
2. A Bachelor Degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and below 2.50 may be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment.
3. A Bachelor Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the PPT Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to rigorous internal assessment.
4. A Bachelor Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the PPT Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.
5. Other qualifications equivalent/relevant to a Bachelor Degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Graduation Requirements

Students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00, complete the thesis and project, and meet the minimum credit hours for each respective programme.

English Language Requirement

International students must have speaking and writing skills in English and possess one of the following qualifications:

• Minimum MUET Band 4; or
• Equivalent to CEFR (Mid B2).

Exemption: Students from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand that use English as an official language. They must provide proof as confirmation.

Exemption: International students who have a Bachelor Degree from any university in Malaysia.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is able to add the practical knowledge and skills required for your career advancement either locally or internationally.

Graduates can further their studies to PhD level in the same or related courses at any university in Malaysia or abroad.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) of Widad University College prepares candidates for top management positions in finance, investment banking, management and healthcare administration. Therefore, graduates are able to hold any position in the public or private sector. Among the positions offered to our graduates are management consultant, marketing manager, investment banking officer, operations manager, financial advisor and researcher.
