Course Overview

The Diploma in Nursing at Widad University College is one of the most sought-after nursing programmes in Malaysia, designed to produce professional nurses who are not only technically skilled but also ethical and ready to face the challenges of the modern healthcare world.

The nursing course at Widad combines fundamental theory and comprehensive clinical practical training, enabling students to understand in depth the role of nurses in the healthcare system. Key modules include Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Fundamentals of Nursing, Professional Ethics and Health Law, Pharmacology Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Nursing, and Women's Health.

Students will have full access to advanced learning facilities such as modern simulation laboratories, demonstration rooms, and clinical training at government and private hospitals, including Widad panel hospitals and selected health facilities in Pahang.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirement

1. Pass SPM with 3 credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Science/Applied Science/Additional Science, and pass in two (2) subjects including English.
2. Pass the interview session conducted by the faculty.

Alternative Entry

1. Pass SPM.
2. Possess Nursing Assistant Certificate / Community Nurse Certificate.
3. Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM).
4. Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses from LJM.
5. Minimum three (3) years clinical working experience.
6. Pass the interview session conducted by the Faculty of Nursing.
