Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) is a health professional who performs chemical, haematological, immunological, microscopic, and bacteriological diagnostic analyses on body fluids such as blood, urine, sputum, faeces, peritoneal fluid, and other specimens.
Students of the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology are required to undergo five semesters of theory and practical, and one semester of clinical practice in hospitals.
After graduation, students can further their studies in various fields including Biomedical, Physiology and Pharmacology at local or international universities.
Ministry of Higher Education (KPT): Widad University College is recognised as COMPETITIVE (BERDAYA SAING) in SETARA 2022.
Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA): Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology has obtained FULL ACCREDITATION from MQA.
