Course Overview

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education was first offered in 2012 and received full accreditation in 2014.

It covers key elements such as pedagogical skills, early childhood development, curriculum content, educational psychology, teaching and learning theories, learning assessment, health, safety and nutrition of children, and spiritual and moral development of children.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirement

1. Pass SPM / SPMV with 3 credits in any subjects.
2. Pass SKM Level 3 in Early Childhood Care / Preschool, and pass SPM with at least 1 credit.
3. Pass Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 3, MQF) in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00.
4. Pass Community College Certificate equivalent to (Level 3, MQF) in related field, and pass SPM with at least 1 credit.
