Course Overview

The Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) opens opportunities for those seeking answers to questions such as 'why do we do what we do?' Psychologists learn how human behaviour affects us and apply psychological knowledge in helping others. Psychologists can work in private, medical, educational or business fields. Graduates of this programme will be able to possess skills such as helping others understand their situations, overcome current problems and guide them in fulfilling daily life.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

Option 1: Matriculation / Foundation / Equivalent

• Pass Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent with CGPA at least 2.00.

Option 2: STPM / Equivalent

• Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two subjects.

Option 3: STAM

• Pass STAM with minimum grade Jayyid.

Option 4: Diploma / Equivalent

• Possess Diploma or equivalent with CGPA 2.00.

Option 5: Diploma in Psychology

• Diploma in Psychology with minimum CGPA 2.00 from 4.00.

Option 6: Equivalent Qualifications

• Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.

Additional Requirements (Malaysian Students)

• Pass SPM / SPMV with: Credit in Mathematics, Credit in Science, Pass English, and MUET.
• Note: The credit requirements for Mathematics and Science and pass in English can be waived if the qualification contains Mathematics, Science and English subjects and the achievement is equivalent/above the SPM requirements.
