Course Overview

This programme aims to produce graduates who are competent to fulfill the nation needs of skill and expert workers in the field of Chemical Engineering whether in the public, private or self employed sector. The programme also prepares students to further their studies to degree level at any local or international university.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen with a National Identity Card (MyKad).
• Possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least:
  • Grade C in Bahasa Melayu.
  • Grade E in History.
  • TWO (2) credits in any other subjects not already counted.

Specific Requirements:

• Obtain at least Grade E in English.
• Obtain at least Grade C in TWO (2) of the following subjects:
  • Mathematics
  • Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Additional Mathematics / Electrical & Electronic Engineering Studies / Mechanical Engineering Studies / Civil Engineering Studies / Engineering Drawing

OR

• Obtain at least Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subject:
  • Mathematics
• Obtain at least Grade B in TWO (2) of the following subjects:
  • Science
  • Additional Science / Sports Science / Agriculture
