The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery follows a systematic and integrated approach to medical education. It develops the clinical knowledge, practical skills and communication abilities needed to provide competent and compassionate patient care.
Students build a strong academic foundation while developing analytical and critical thinking skills for lifelong learning, research and continuing professional development.
The programme also emphasises medical ethics, professionalism and responsibility towards patients and the wider community. Graduates are prepared to contribute to healthcare through disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing patient management.
Professional Recognition
Graduates may be eligible for provisional registration with the Malaysian Medical Council before undertaking the required housemanship training.
