This programme addresses the communication industry's need for public relations professionals who possess technical competence and understand the role of public relations in a global environment.
Students develop their knowledge, practical abilities, communication skills, creativity, analytical skills and management capabilities across a range of professional contexts.
The Bachelor of Communication (Honours) Public Relations provides an in-depth understanding of the communication and media industries. Students gain practical experience producing media kits, news releases, social media content and audio-visual presentations. They also learn to organise campaigns, press conferences, events and exhibitions.
