The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Digital Animation is structured around the practical processes of the animation production pipeline. Students learn to apply research and creative concepts to develop engaging storylines, compelling content and memorable character designs, supported by a strong foundation in theory and creative thinking.
Students strengthen these abilities through intensive technical training in 3D production skills and techniques. They also gain experience in time-based media, video and audio production, video compositing and film studies.
Throughout the programme, students complete animation projects that develop their research, conceptualisation, problem-solving and presentation abilities. They also learn about laws related to content development, copyright and intellectual property, professional ethics and industry best practices, preparing them for careers in animation, film and post-production.
