Physiotherapists work as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams to help people develop, maintain and restore movement and functional ability throughout their lives.
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) prepares students to assess movement and functional limitations and to support health promotion, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and long-term physical wellbeing.
The programme combines academic learning, practical training and clinical skills development. It aims to produce professionally competent physiotherapists who demonstrate ethical judgement, compassion and sound clinical decision-making.
Students also develop communication, critical thinking and leadership skills, together with the ability to practise independently and undertake continuing professional development.
