Computer science plays an important role in shaping how people communicate, travel, work and live. Computer scientists develop computational techniques, design systems and create solutions that support discovery and innovation across many fields.
The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) prepares graduates to design, develop and implement computing systems. Students build a strong mathematical foundation and gain solid computing knowledge in software engineering, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
The programme develops analytical and critical-thinking skills, enabling students to solve problems by applying computer science principles, knowledge and technical skills. Students are also introduced to entrepreneurship and real-world challenges to broaden their career prospects.
Students may specialise in Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering or Mobile Application Development.
The estimated Malaysian part-time programme fee is RM58,200. The estimated international part-time programme fee is RM82,000 and is applicable only to international applicants holding a valid employment pass or work permit.
