Graphic designers play an important role in the creative industries, particularly in advertising and design. Throughout the programme, students learn the fundamental principles of art and design and develop the technical skills needed to produce design work across analogue and digital platforms.
The multimedia component prepares students to apply art and design concepts across print, digital and web applications, including time-based media such as video and audio production.
The programme enables graduates to develop versatile and marketable skills relevant to visual design, advertising, public relations, publishing, journalism, marketing and event management.
Students develop the theoretical understanding and technical expertise needed to conceptualise graphic design solutions, create memorable corporate identities, build and manage brands, and develop advertising campaigns and marketing strategies.
