Course Overview

Bachelor of Finance program is designed to meet both academic and workforce demands while adhering to MQA-recognized finance program standard. Furthermore, this program works in partnership with the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) to offer students the chance to earn both a degree and a professional qualification as Registered Financial Planners (RFPs).

Entry Requirements

General Requirements:

SPM

• Possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least:
  • Grade C in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Melayu (July Paper).
  • Grade E in Sejarah (History) from the year 2013 onwards.

AND

STPM

• Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least:
  • A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00.
  • Grade C in Pengajian Am (General Studies).
  • TWO (2) Grade Cs in any other subjects not already counted.

AND

MUET

• Obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from Session 1 of 2021, with a validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released.

Specific Requirements:

• Obtain at least a Grade B- in ONE (1) of the following subjects at the STPM level:
  • Economics / Accounting / Business Studies
• Obtain at least a Grade C in Mathematics M at the STPM level.

OR:

• Obtain at least a Grade C in Mathematics at the SPM level.
• Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for results obtained from Session 1 of 2021 onwards, with a validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released.
