Entry Requirements

General Requirements

• Pass SPM with:
  • Grade C in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Melayu (July Paper)
  • Grade E in History (for SPM results from 2013 onwards)

STPM Pathway

• Minimum CGPA 2.00 at STPM level
• At least Grade C in General Studies (Pengajian Am)
• At least Grade C in TWO (2) other subjects not already counted
• Minimum MUET Band 1.0 (valid for 5 years from result release, for Session 1, 2021 onwards)

Typical Specific Requirements (Science-Based Degree)

For a science and analytics programme like Environmental Analytics, universities usually require:

• Minimum CGPA 2.00 – 2.50 (depending on intake competitiveness)
• Credit in Mathematics at SPM level
• Science-related background (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
• Minimum MUET Band 2.0 (commonly required for science degree programmes)

• Matriculation / Foundation in Science or related field
