Entry Requirements

General Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen with a National Identity Card (MyKad).
• Possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least:
  • Grade C in Bahasa Melayu.
  • Grade E in History.
  • TWO (2) credits in any other subjects not already counted.

Specific Requirements:

• Obtain at least Grade B+ in ONE (1) of the following subjects:
  • Islamic Education / Tasawwur Islam / Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah Education / Islamic Shariah Education / Turath Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah / Turath Dirasat Islamiah / Usul Al-Din / Al-Syariah / Manahij Al-'Ulum Al-Islamiah
• Obtain at least Grade C in English.
• Obtain at least Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subjects:
  • Arabic Language / Higher Arabic / Turath Arabic / Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mu'asirah / Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah
• Obtain at least Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subjects:
  • Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
• Pass the required test and/or interview.
• Open only to candidates of Malay descent, natives of Sabah, natives of Sarawak, and Orang Asli.
