Course Overview

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme is specially designed for motivated high-achievers among business leaders, senior managers and rising executives. Throughout the programme, the candidate will be guided to develop the skills to integrate, analyse and synthesise information, conduct independent research, appraise problems, generate new insights and communicate effectively.

The programme also aims to develop learners’ awareness of the wider global context in which business and management takes place, and increase their ability to work confidently across industrial and national boundaries.

DBA Course Synopsis

** Thesis – Students are required to carry out research within the field of management and administration (NEC: 0414).

Entry Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

1. A Master’s degree in related fields as accepted by the QIU Senate; OR
2. A Master’s degree in non-related fields as accepted by the QIU Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
3. A Master’s degree in non-related fields as accepted by the QIU Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
4. Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.

International students: IELTS Band 6.0 / MUET Band 4 or its equivalent
