Course Overview

The Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (Honours) programme incorporates introductory and advanced curriculum courses, with a strong social justice and leadership focus. Practical placement experiences in the nursery and pre-school settings are also provided. As a graduate of the programme, you will acquire the skills of an outstanding early childhood educator, a professional decision-maker, an ethical leader, and a practical and critical thinker. You will develop competencies that allow you to develop and deliver pre-school curricula that incorporate innovative strategies to engage children and their families in meaningful learning. Entry Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Pass with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects or its equivalent
• Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM): Pass with a minimum grade of "Jayyid"
• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with minimum of grade B in five (5) subjects
• Foundation/Matriculation: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
• Diploma: A diploma in ECE or A Diploma in any field OR its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
• Other Qualifications: Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

English Proficiency for International Students: IELTS 5.0 / MUET Band 3.5 or its equivalent
