Units

Core Units

To gain the Diploma, learners MUST achieve the following 3 core units that total 52 credits

• Advanced Basics in Business (12 credits)
• Developing Financial Forecasting and Accounting in Business (20 credits)
• Developing Organisation Structure (20 credits)

Elective Units

Learners MUST choose at least 1 additional elective units for a total of 67/72* credits

• Developing Entrepreneurship (20 credits)
• Marketing Practices (15 credits)
• Communication in Business (15 credits)
• Developing an eBusiness (20 credits)

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

• Completed their GCSE/IGCSE 'O' Levels or an equivalent* qualification in their own country and passed 4 subjects with minimum grades of 'C', '4' or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English.
• Have a valid score of 5.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination or equivalent for students whose first language is not English. Alternatively, students can take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test which is administered by our Accredited Partner Centres.

The Level 3 Diploma in Business syllabus and assessment is suitable for students aged 16-19 as well as adult learners.

* Centres need to provide evidence to justify any equivalency decision (both qualification equivalency and grade equivalency) they make pertaining to any enrolments via non-GCSE or non-standard routes.

Students that complete the Level 3 Diploma in Business (L3DB) can:
