Course Overview

The Diploma in Manufacturing Operations is designed for working adults who want to develop their careers while continuing to work. Delivered through open and distance learning, the programme allows students to study anytime and anywhere.

The programme covers manufacturing processes, materials technology, production operations, maintenance, industrial engineering, project management, supply chain and logistics, quality management, occupational safety, Industry 4.0 and manufacturing data analytics.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet any one of the following requirements:

  • A pass in SPM with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject or equivalent qualification; or
  • A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of three (3) Bs; or
  • A pass in O-Level with a minimum of three (3) credits; or
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 to pursue a Diploma in the same field; or
  • A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
