Course Overview

The Diploma in Law Enforcement (ODL) is designed for working professionals seeking career advancement without disrupting their work or personal commitments. Delivered through an interactive learning management system, the programme offers flexible, exam-free learning focused on practical law enforcement knowledge, critical thinking and industry-relevant skills.

Students will develop an understanding of the criminal justice system, criminal law and law enforcement principles. The programme also covers crime scene investigation, security and risk management, criminology, psychology, forensic science, cyber law, computer security, counter-terrorism, homeland security, juvenile justice and administrative law.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet any one of the following requirements:

• A pass in SPM with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject or equivalent qualification; or
• A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of three (3) Bs; or
• A pass in O-Level with a minimum of three (3) credits; or
• Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 to pursue a Diploma in the same field; or
• A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
