The Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is designed for individuals who are passionate about shaping young minds and making a meaningful impact during the most crucial years of a child’s development. This programme provides students with the essential knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to become competent and caring early childhood educators.
The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including child development, early learning theories, curriculum planning, classroom management, language and literacy, play-based learning, and special needs education. Students will also develop important professional skills in communication, creativity, problem-solving, and child psychology.
Learning is supported through a combination of lectures, workshops, hands-on activities, and practicum placements in childcare centres and kindergartens. This ensures graduates are well-prepared with both theoretical understanding and real-world teaching experience.
Upon completion, graduates will be qualified to work in kindergartens, preschools, childcare centres, and enrichment programmes, or pursue further studies in a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
