Course Overview

This programme is designed to meet the skills gap of specialized personnel in cardiac and medical emergency departments. It challenges the trainee to think fast on their feet and work effectively as a team to provide safe and efficient care in emergency settings. It focuses on rapid assessment, emergency interventions, and advanced life support.

Entry Requirements

LOCAL STUDENT

• Possess Diploma in Medical Assistant recognized by Medical Assistant Board; OR
• Possess Diploma in Paramedic from recognized Malaysian institution; OR
• Possess Diploma in Nursing recognized by Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Minimum ONE (1) year clinical working experience.
• Possess THREE (3) months experience in the related specialty.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

• Possess Diploma in Medical Assistant or Paramedic from recognized institutions; OR
• Possess Post Graduate Medical from any medical bodies; OR
• Possess current temporary practicing certificate (TPC).
• Minimum of TWO (2) years clinical working experience (OR 3 months in related specialty).
• IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 515/215/80.
