Business analytics is a rapidly growing field. It transforms data to recover insights, identifies patterns, predicts upcoming trends, and recommends the most optimal solutions for organisations. This has helped several companies improve their outcomes and reach their desired goals. Business analytics is a highly lucrative technique and it’s high time now that businesses understand and adopt its principles.

What is Business Analytics?

• Business analytics uses statistical analysis and modelling to explore and investigate business data to transform data into business insights
• These insights are then used to predict outcomes of business decisions and to recommend actions that maximise ideal outcomes
• Business analytics solves business problems and improves business performance

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:

1. Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00**
2. Diploma (Level 4, MQF): Minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
3. STPM: Minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects
4. Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF): Minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00
5. Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM): Minimum grade of Jayyid (good)
6. Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM): Subjected to Senate / Academic Board’s approval
7. Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM): Subjected to Senate / Academic Board’s approval
8. A-Level: 2 Ds
9. Senior Middle 3 (UEC): 5 B’s***
10. CPU: 5 passes with a minimum average of 50%
11. Australian Matriculation Programmes: University Aggregate of 50% or ATAR score of at least 50 for various programmes
12. Equivalent qualification
