The Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia in 2D Concept Design is specially developed to nurture creative talents who are capable of generating and visualising ideas effectively across diverse media platforms. The programme focuses on visual storytelling for industries such as film, animation, video games, interactive media, and comics.

By combining strong foundational principles, practical concept art techniques, and structured storyboard development, students gain both creative and technical proficiency. Through hands-on exercises, industry-relevant projects, internships, and continuous feedback from lecturers and peers, students develop a deep understanding of the iterative design process.

Curriculum

Foundation in Art Training (4 Months)
- Color Mood Studies
- 2D Fundamental
- Drawing Fundamental
- Anatomy Studies

Skill Development Program (8 Months)
- CU01: Concept Art Planning
- CU02: Concept Art Research
- CU03: Idea Development
- CU04: Concept Art Illustration
- CU05: Storyboard Development
- Final Project

Industry Training (4 Months)
 

Entry Requirements

- Aged 16 years and above
- Possess SKM Level 3 in Creative Multimedia OR
- Have a basic foundation in Art OR
- Minimum one year of working experience in the Creative Multimedia sector
