Offered since 2010, the Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences at Widad University College is a programme that provides foundational knowledge and practical training in medical sciences, health, and patient care.
This course trains students to become Medical Assistant Officers (PPP / AMO) skilled in health promotion, disease prevention, medical treatment, and patient rehabilitation. Students study basic medical sciences such as Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and patient communication techniques.
Practical training is conducted in hospitals and clinics, where students have the opportunity to be directly involved in various medical procedures, health screenings, emergency treatments, and patient management in wards and outpatient clinics.
