Course Overview

The Diploma in Islamic Banking is a programme expected to produce competent students with good knowledge in Islamic Banking.

Given the challenges arising from globalization, it is important to recognize the Islamic banking industry as one of the main funding sources for the domestic economy.

Thus, there is a need to understand the Malaysian banking system that specializes in the Islamic Banking System.

The Diploma in Islamic Banking is recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM). Graduates will be awarded the Associate Qualification of Islamic Finance (AQIF) by IBFIM upon completion.

Entry Requirements

1. SPM/SPMV: Pass with 3 credits including Bahasa Melayu, pass English, pass Mathematics.
2. Pre-Diploma/Certificate/Matriculation or equivalent: Pass in Pre-Diploma/Certificate/Matriculation or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government.
