The Master of Science in Management programme emphasises research as the main requirement to obtain the degree.
Although there is no specific number of credits required to complete the programme, students are required to enrol in several courses to strengthen their knowledge base in the field of research. They are also required to participate in academic discussions and seminar presentations.
In addition, they are required to present a thesis to the Thesis Examination Committee to certify a significant contribution to knowledge that has been carried out in a selected area.

International students must have speaking and writing skills in English and possess one of the following qualifications:
Exemption: Students from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand that use English as an official language. They must provide proof as confirmation.
Exemption: International students who have a Bachelor Degree from any university in Malaysia.
The Master of Science in Management programme emphasises the development of knowledge and skills required for career advancement either locally or internationally.
Graduates can further their studies at PhD level in the same or related fields at any university in Malaysia or abroad.
Graduates are also eligible and capable of holding positions in the public or private sector. Suitable positions include lecturer, manager and researcher.
