Nursing combines scientific knowledge, practical care and professional judgement. Nurses apply critical thinking when making clinical decisions while communicating information skilfully and compassionately to patients and their families.
The Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) provides a foundation in the core sciences, humanities and evidence-based nursing practice. It prepares students to deliver holistic patient care and make ethical decisions in a range of healthcare settings.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are eligible to sit for the Malaysian Nursing Board Examination as part of the process of becoming licensed registered nurses.
Professional Recognition
Graduates are eligible to sit for the Malaysian Nursing Board Examination to pursue registration as a Registered Nurse.
