The Bachelor of Computer Science (Internet of Things Technology) with Honours is a three-year degree program carefully designed to meet the growing demands of the digital era and the rapid expansion of Industry 4.0. Offered in the 2u1i mode, the program allows students to spend the first two years at the university gaining strong academic and technical foundations, followed by one full year in the industry, where they apply their knowledge in real-world settings and acquire practical professional experience. This unique structure bridges the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that graduates are not only well-versed in concepts but also industry-ready upon completion of their studies. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics central to computer science and IoT, including embedded systems, electronics, robotic, wireless sensor networks, cloud computing, mobile and web technologies, cybersecurity, data analytics, and artificial intelligence for IoT applications. Students also engage in work-based learning, laboratory work, and a capstone project, which strengthen their ability to design and implement IoT systems that integrate hardware, software, and networking.
