This programme offers teaching in three science-related modules, as well as training in transferable academic skills. Successful completion of the Foundation in Science programme can lead to full degree-level courses at the University of Reading in either the UK or Malaysia.
SPM: Minimum of 5 at Grade C or above, excluding English for Science and Technology, Islamic Studies and Moral Studies
IGCSE:?5 passes at Grade C or above, in relevant subjects
UEC:?Minimum of 4 at Grade B or above, excluding Chinese, and Bookkeeping and Accounts. (Total of 24 points overall)
OR an equivalent international qualification
For entry to MPharm degrees
SPM:?Minimum of 5 at Grade B or higher in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and one other subject (including a Mathematics subject).
English Language:
SPM 1119 (GCE-O):?Grade C or above
IELTS:?5.5 (no element below 4.5)
OR an equivalent recognised English Language qualification
Students whose English level is at IELTS 5.0 or below or SPM 1119 (GCE-O) Grade D, are encouraged to participate in the University English 1 programme prior to starting the Foundation Programme.
