Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
  2. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP; OR
  3. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a thorough, rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that are equivalent to their working experience in the Artificial Intelligence or related fields; OR
  4. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough, rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses; OR
  5. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that are equivalent to their working experience in the Artificial Intelligence or related fields; OR
  6. Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering or non-Artificial Intelligence/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia must fulfil the requirement on item (i) – (v)

English Competency Requirement (International Student)

  • Achieve a minimum of Band 4 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (Low B2).
  • If a student does not meet this requirement, the HEP must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
  • All fees are in RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency unless stated otherwise.
