The Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Young Artists Awards 2026 (MT10) is now ongoing, giving secondary school students across Malaysia the opportunity to showcase their creativity in one of the country’s most established youth art competitions.
Presented by The One Academy, MT10 is open to secondary school students who have a passion for art, illustration, painting, design, visual storytelling, and creative expression. The competition has been running since 1998 and has grown into a recognised platform for young creative talents to challenge themselves, gain exposure, and take their first steps towards the world of art and design.
For the 2026 edition, MT10 returns with 顿颈蝉苍别测?笔颈虫补谤’蝉 Toy Story 5 as its movie partner theme. The competition theme is:
A Toy’s Promise

Through this theme, students are invited to create an artwork that explores the bond between a toy and its owner. Participants may express childhood memories, imagination, friendship, loyalty, or the emotional meaning that toys can hold as people grow up.
MT10 2026 offers scholarships worth RM910,000 and total cash prizes of RM13,000, as highlighted in the official event visual. Winners may receive scholarships to The One Academy, cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and exclusive Disney?Pixar Toy Story 5 merchandise, depending on the award category.
As the competition is already ongoing, some earlier registration deadlines have passed. However, selected locations are still open for registration. Interested students should check the official MT10 website and register as soon as possible, subject to the organiser’s latest deadline and availability.
Prizes and Awards
MT10 2026 offers a range of awards for outstanding young artists, including scholarships, cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and selected merchandise.
Main prizes include:
- Gold Award: RM90,000 scholarship and RM3,000 cash prize
- Silver Award: RM70,000 scholarship and RM2,000 cash prize
- Bronze Award: RM50,000 scholarship and RM1,000 cash prize
- Young Artists Awards: 7 winners, each receiving an RM30,000 scholarship and RM500 cash prize
- Encouragement Prizes: 30 winners, each receiving an RM8,000 scholarship
- Jury’s Special Selection Prizes: 50 winners, each receiving an RM5,000 scholarship
Scholarship prizes are subject to the organiser’s terms and conditions.
