UPU Results for STPM/Equivalent Graduates to Be Announced on 14 August 2026

The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has officially announced that the results for applications to public universities (Universiti Awam) through UPUOnline for the Bachelor's Degree Academic Session 2026/2027 will be released this Friday, 14 August 2026.

This applies to all STPM leavers and equivalent qualification holders who submitted their applications earlier this year.

When and How to Check Your Results

Candidates can check their application status starting from:

14 August 2026, 12:00 PM
Until 23 August 2026, 5:00 PM

You can access your results through any of the following platforms:

Pro Tip from StudyMalaysia: With high traffic expected on results day, we recommend checking via the UPUPocket app or the mirror site (upu2.mohe.gov.my) if the main portal is slow. Have your login credentials ready before noon.

Important Next Steps

Acceptance / Rejection of Offer

• Period: 15 August – 23 August 2026
• Where: Respective university websites (not on UPUOnline)
• Official Offer Letters: Will be issued by the university starting 15 August 2026, but only after you have confirmed your acceptance online.

Appeals (Rayuan)

Only unsuccessful applicants are eligible to submit an appeal via UPUOnline at .

• Appeal Window: 14 August 2026 (12:00 PM) – 23 August 2026 (5:00 PM)
• Appeals are subject to vacancies available after new student registration is completed.
• Selection is based on merit and programme availability.

Critical Reminder: Offers Are Final

MOHE has emphasised that all offers for the 2026/2027 Academic Session are FINAL. Candidates cannot request changes to:

• Their offered programme of study, or
• Their assigned university
