Young Malaysian artists aged 16 –19 are invited to reimagine the Land of Dawn through Malaysian-inspired illustration and creative storytelling.

(PETALING JAYA) – Claz’room College and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) have officially launched the Mobile Legends Art Competition Malaysia 2026, a nationwide creative art competition celebrating young artistic talent across Malaysia.

The competition challenges participants to create original Mobile Legends-inspired artworks that place the Land of Dawn within recognisable Malaysian-inspired settings. Participants are encouraged to reimagine MLBB heroes and environments through iconic Malaysian tourism landmarks, famous Malaysia holiday destinations, cultural streets, tropical islands, heritage locations, and festive local celebrations that reflect the country’s rich identity and scenery.?

Open to participants aged 16–19 nationwide, the competition invites secondary school students, school leavers, and emerging illustrators who are passionate about illustration, digital art, and creative storytelling. Welcoming both traditional drawing and digital illustration submissions, the competition encourages young creatives to showcase their imagination and visual storytelling through the world of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.?

Supporting Malaysia’s Growing Digital Art and Multimedia Industry

Malaysia’s digital creative industry continues to expand rapidly, particularly in digital illustration, animation, film visual effects (VFX), character design, and multimedia art. Through this collaboration with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Claz’room College hopes to inspire more young Malaysians to explore creative education and future opportunities within the digital art and multimedia industry.

The competition is also proudly supported by Chaofun and Pelangi Publishing Group, bringing together partners from the creative, gaming, and education industries to support the next generation of young Malaysian artists.

The competition is further strengthened by an internationally recognized judging panel comprising industry professionals and creative leaders from Malaysia and China, including official Mobile Legends visual artists, acclaimed Comic Fiesta artists, creative studio executives, and key representatives from the publishing and entertainment sectors.

Beyond the competition itself, the initiative encourages participants to strengthen their creative thinking, develop portfolio-ready artworks, and celebrate Malaysian culture through modern visual storytelling.

Scholarships and Cash Prizes for Young Malaysian Artists

The Mobile Legends Art Competition Malaysia 2026 offers one of the largest reward pools for young artists and aspiring illustrators in Malaysia, featuring RM20,000 in total cash prizes alongside over RM700,000 worth of scholarships. Winners will also stand a chance to receive up to 100,000 MLBB Diamonds, exclusive mystery gifts from MLBB, and official Certificates of Excellence.?

The competition aims to support students who are passionate about digital illustration, multimedia art, and creative education while providing opportunities for future artistic growth and industry exposure.

Competition Timeline and Award Ceremony

The competition officially runs from 13 May 2026 until 31 July 2026, followed by a judging and review phase throughout August 2026.

The award ceremony will take place in September 2026 at the Claz’room College Petaling Jaya, where finalists and winners will be celebrated for their artistic achievements, creativity, and storytelling abilities.
